Equipment Funding

Obtaining funding for equipment needs can be a challenge. It is important to explore all avenues before you commit to a purchase. Many funding sources require approval prior to purchase as well as confirmation of need by a professional. Funding sources will require that all insurance/benefit plans have been utilized. Some funding sources are geared to income. It is very important to talk with your child’s professional team about equipment funds that are available and request assistance as needed. Be aware that timelines exist for submission of funding requests. Each funding agency works differently.
